What Is
Colostrum?
*Ethically collected: When a cow gives birth, she produces significantly more colostrum each day than the calf can consume. Immediately after birth, the full amount of colostrum necessary to support the calf is collected first, and when the calf’s needs are met, the additional first-day colostrum is collected for other uses.
Colostrum is the life-supporting complete superfood all mammalian mothers produce for their offspring during the first 48–72 hours after giving birth. The colostrums we use, Immulox® and ColostrumOne®, in Holos Prime are exclusively from first-day, ethically collected bovine colostrum from grass-fed, U.S.-raised dairy cows.
Often called Liquid Gold or Nature’s First Food, bovine colostrum is comprised of hundreds of perfectly balanced and integrated bioactive nutrients. Bovine colostrum is supported by thousands of studies from around the world regarding health benefits for human adults and children, most importantly starting with enhanced gut and immune health.
